Victorian period polychrome enameled 18kt gold pendant on chain set with a peridot, rhodolite garnets and diamonds, with its original fitted box, en suite.

By Federico and Ferdinando Luigi Giuliano at 49 Howland St. London circa 1891-1903.

A fine example of the lyrical work and detailed execution of the Giuliano Family’s artistic prowess. This pendant on chain necklace was designed and made by the brothers of Carlo Giuliano, Federico and Ferdinando, and exemplary of Carlo’s ingenious interpretation of both Renaissance style and French 17th century decorative design in the white and black polychrome enameled pierced scrolls which comprise the pendant, surmounted with a fleur-de-lis loop for the chain. The pendant is set with a central peridot and five rhodolite garnets suspended from below. The separate chain of original design, both fitted in their original leather box, is segmented in gold tubular motifs of swirling red and white enamel, separated by natural seed pearls.
