American 18kt gold & diamond brooch. Circa 1950.
A lyrically shaped and asymmetrical designed American mid-Twentieth Century 18Kt Gold and Diamonds Clip Brooch, the whole giving the illusion of double sided fans centering a double swirl of individually set diamonds in white gold from which emanates at each side two pleated fans, and the whole surrounded by looped tubular, overlapping arcs – one side set with individual diamonds at the ends – and with a fanciful pierced, flat tooled and scrolled repeat motif at top and bottom. This Brooch sets a distinctive singular look to the stylish wearer!
