marked GM, France, circa 1900
featuring fine, rich cabochon Amethysts and a tear shaped pendant Amethyst; the diamond shaped open work frame of stylized thistles in Amethysts and rose cut Diamonds and carved and chased thistle leaves in gold, two Old Mine cut diamonds, one among the leaves and one above the pendant stone.
